The Information and Material in this Book Saved My Life

After struggling with depression and its friends; rejection, fear, and loneliness for over forty years, I was able to be set free as a result of what I learned and how I implemented it into my life.

The Completeness of Calvary by David CooleyEver since I could remember, despair and gloom over-shadowed my life. I would wake up in the morning with a heaviness of despair, not wanting to face the day. Bouts of darkness would come upon me and I had no way to escape from the prison of my mind.

Though I attended church my whole life, I never had the ability to overcome my issues. But in receiving an understanding of my POSITION of identity that comes with salvation, a new perspective of who I really was, and how and when to declare the truth of God in a new and powerful way, I was able to take control over these emotions and be set free.

You may NOT have issues with depression, but everyone deals with some issue or another. It may be marital conflict, unforgiveness, or some form of worry or anxiety. Maybe its trust and faith issues regarding God’s Word – but not matter the issue, the Cross of Jesus Christ is a completed work and can be applied to all aspects of life.

Do You Feel You Are Not Good Enough

In the beginning disobedience, resulting in sin, separated man and woman from God. Guilt and shame followed. Separation from God, guilt and condemnation, and continual accusations from Satan is what mankind today experiences. Yes, the penalty of sin is death, but to justify us in God’s eyes, Jesus was our substitute and was placed upon a cross. It is only Christ’s blood that speaks to sin, resolves condemnation, and silences the accuser.

The redemption process God ordained was the cross, the shedding of Christ’s blood. He not only ordered it, but also puts it above everything else. If we fail to recognize or accept the importance God places upon it, and the fact that it satisfies Him, we will fail in understanding how truly forgiven we are.

So often, through our own or Satan’s condemnation, we become weak minded and lose sight of the effectiveness, completeness, and purpose of the blood. We place it below and not upon our sin. When we believe in this manner, we then seek ways to come into God’s presence by either being good enough or better than another (comparison), by praying or reading the Bible more, or some other misunderstood act of works. Not realizing we ONLY come to God through the finished and completed work of Jesus Christ. It’s never based on what we do, attain, or become, but only and always on the blood of Christ.

With this understanding we realize that we truly are forgiven and acceptable in His sight. There is no more ground for Satan or anyone to stand upon, for our faith and trust in Christ and His shed blood, and our refusal to not be moved from POSITION, these alone silence all accusations before our God. We have complete redemption and forgiveness.
